How to compress video sermons

With Squeeze, video compression is as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4:

  1. Open an uncompressed video file
  2. Select an output format
  3. Select an intelligent preset
  4. Press "SQUEEZE IT!"

Step One: Open an Uncompressed Video File

  1. Import an uncompressed video using one of the three INPUT options (for this example Import File is used)
  2. Select Import File
  3. Browse to the desired file using the Open dialog box
  4. Select the file and click Open
  5. The file appears in the Batch Tree under an assigned Job number.

Step Two: Select an Output Format

  1. Select the output format from one of seven offered types (for this example flash is used). Note: The choice of Output files depends on what version of Squeeze you purchased.

Step Three: Select an Intelligent preset

  1. Select the "+" plus sign to open the options
  2. Select one of the many Intelligent Presets Note: An Intelligent Preset is a predefined setting for the output target. The preset may be altered and saved to best suit your compression needs.
  3. Apply the preset by either:
    • Dragging it to the batch tree, or
    • Clicking APPLY in the lower right hand corner.
  4. The preset appears in the Batch Tree under the source file.

Step Four: Press "Squeeze IT!"

  1. Select the SQUEEZE IT! button in the lower right hand side of the Squeeze interface.
Note: Squeeze places the finished, compressed movie(s) in the folder that contains your source movie file unless you specify a different output folder location.
