Step One: Tripod

  1. Make sure you open the tripod to its tallest position and you secure it

  1. Make sure you secure the camera onto the tripod
  2. Hook up the power cord into a power supply
  3. Turn the camera on and make sure you are getting power to it

Step Three: Position your computer close to the camera

  1. Be sure to plug your computer power supply in
  2. Boot up your computer
  3. If need be slide in your PCI Fire Wire Card
  4. Attach the Fire Wire cable from the PCI Card to the Camera's Fire Wire Port
  5. Launch Sorenson Squeeze

Step Four: Connect the ground loop isolator

  1. Connect the male connector into the camera's mic input
  2. Connect the other end into your audio source

Step Five: Test IT!

  1. In Sorenson Squeeze, click "Capture Video"
  2. If your computer is on and sorenson squeeze is running and your fire wire cable is hooked up from your camera to your computer and the ground loop isolator is plugged into the camera from the audio source you will see and hear what the camera is seeing and hearing.
  3. I suggest you use head phones and plug them into the head phones jack of the computer and listen to your audio source while watching the video signal on your computer. Note, there will be a delay in the recording so it is OK.
  4. After you record the sermon, you will need to give it a name and save it. By default, Soreson saves it to your video folder under my documents.
